Plou is a collaborative practice for spatial design, art and social innovation.
The woman behind Plou is Amsterdam based architect Txell Blanco. Plou creates buildings, encounters, spaces, strategies and visions that favours the transition to a more sustainable, liveable, social, nature inclusive and vibrant environment.
Shaping the built and unbuilt environment and therefore the daily life from its users cannot be done without involving them in the proces. Through emergent forms of social engagement, Plou does play a role in the way we (co) design our cities and landscapes.

This large variety of projects can only be achieved with the reliance collaboration of our brothers and sisters offices. Plou is no more than one piece of a bigger mechanism.
Those collaborating practices are The Outsiders (Art and community curators), Play the City (Urban Planners), Circular Landscapes (Landscape architects) and CASCO: art institute working for the commons, Hofschneider architects (architects), among others.
We work either solicited or unsolicited, as we feel the need to take action in tackling the big issues even when the market is not ready yet.
